MRI - Matrix Repatterning Introductory Seminar
The Matrix Repatterning Introductory Seminar is designed to provide the practitioner with a practical hands-on experience of this powerful and revolutionary modality.
The seminar will cover the following:
- Review of the concept of tensegrity (the cellular basis of Matrix Repatterning)
- The Resistance Barrier the precise and objective tissue response used in both assessment and treatment.
- The Global Assessment (detailed determination of sites of primary involvement)
- Basic Treatment Protocols
At the conclusion of this program, the practitioner will have basic tools to allow him/her to assess the entire body, and develop treatment skills applicable to all areas of the body. This course is a pre-requisite for the Certification Program in Matrix Repatterning.

What is the total cost of certification?
Approximately $9,000, not including travel and accommodation
What does a certified Matrix Practitioner charge for sessions with patients?
Our practitioners charge between $120 and $320 per hour.
Is MR training associated with any college or university?
It is approved as an accepted modality for registered massage therapists in Ontario and British Columbia.
Where is the training conducted?
In the Toronto area at our facility in Aurora.
Is accommodation provided in the cost of training?
No, but we usually get a group discount on local hotels.
What are the requirements for previous training and credentials?
Candidates for Matrix Repatterning instruction have significant knowledge of anatomy and have the following educational and/or professional credentials: DC; ND; MD; RMT; PT; OT; DO; DVM; DDS; AT (Athletic Therapist)
What are the benefits of certification?
- License to advertise a Matrix Repatterning practice
- Inclusion in our worldwide referral database
- Eligibility to become a Matrix Instructor
- Membership in our private online forum, which carries discussions between colleagues, new research developments and ongoing case studies (moderated by Dr. Roth)
- Eligibility for ongoing training (repeat seminars, specialty training, etc.)
- Eligibility to take Specialist Training in areas such as Snoring and Apnea, Cranial Specialist, Pelvic Disorders Specialist, Equine & Canine Specialist, etc.
What are the requirements for maintaining certification?
An annual licensing fee of $400 and attendance at a free biannual continuing education seminar in Matrix Repatterning.
Candidates who successfully complete the Introductory Program will be invited to apply for acceptance into the Certification Program leading to candidacy to become a Certified Matrix Repatterning Practitioner (CMRP). The Matrix Institute reserves the right to approve candidacy for entry into the certification program, and may revoke certification with 30 days notice.
Additional Course Details
- The Introductory Program is the prerequisite to the Certification Program
- The Certification Program must be completed within 24 months
- All courses must be paid in full 30 days prior to commencement of training
- Tuition can be paid using VISA, MasterCard, Amex, cheque or money order
